Kids Days

Breckenridge Recreation Center - The Breckenridge Recreation Center offers two climbing walls, an
indoor pool and slide, basketball, racquetball and tennis courts and more. All services are available with
the purchase of a one-day pass or punch card. (Children 10 and younger must be accompanied by an

    Might Mite Climbing Wall If your kids are climbing the walls, bring them down to the Recreation
    Center for Mighty Mite Climbing. This program is for kids ages 4-6 years offering them a unique

    Friday Night Climb n' Swim Every Friday night, kids ages 6-12 have a chance to explore the
    adventures of rock climbing and swimming. Climbing instruction mixed with an indoor pool and

Ice Skating Kids of any age can enjoy the Stephen C. West Ice Arena located on Boreas Pass Rd. The
ice arena offers an outdoor ice rink which is open for public skating seven days a week from 8:00 AM -
10:00 PM (or later). Skate rental and instruction are available on-site. $6 for adults, $5 for kids, $3 to rent

Eric's Arcade From Pinball to Ms Pac Man, Downstairs at Eric's Arcade provides a fun activity for older
kids and is located right on Main Street.  

Skatepark If skateboarding is how you like to spend your time, check out the skatepark located outside
of the Breckenridge Recreation Center. Boxes, bowls, spines and a ¼ pipe are just a few of the features
you will find. The park is open from dawn to dusk and full pads are encouraged but not required. (970)

Kidz Calliope Concerts  Join in this 10 week children's series each Tuesday at 2:00 PM or Thursday at 7:
00 PM at the Riverwalk Center. Tickets are $5 per child or adult.  Season tickets are available for $45, or
$145 for the Family 4 pass. From magic to music, juggling to dance, each show provides an event of fun

Carter Park Located at the south end of High Street, and adjacent to Breckenridge Elementary School,
Carter Park is a favorite summer hangout of both locals and canines alike and features a playground,
soccer/rugby field, tennis courts (2 lighted), picnic tables and a sand volleyball court.

Mountain Top Children's Museum The Mountain Top Children's Museum offers children an opportunity
to think outside the box and use their imaginations. "Where the Wild Things Are" is an example of
interesting exhibits you'll find on your stroll through the museum. It's a perfect afternoon activity for

Breckenridge Train Company presents Parent's Night Out - Kids enjoy craft classes customized to suit
their ages and interests - Monday - Friday - June 23, 2008 - August 22, 2008.  Classes include all
materials and free train rides.  You must pre-register before 5PM that day.  Cost is $25/child  The
instructor, Cecelia, is a professional artist and certified teacher.  Call her at (970) 547-0495 for more
